What we collect
Account details: the email address you sign up with, and the display name you choose.
What you contribute: prices and venues you submit, check-ins, ratings, notes and any photos you upload.
Approximate location: only while the app is open and only to show bars near you. We do not track your location in the background, and we do not store a history of where you have been.
Basic technical data: app version, device type and crash reports, used to fix bugs.
Why we collect it
To show accurate, current Spritz prices — the contributions are the product.
To let you find bars near you, follow friends and see what they recommend.
To review submissions before they go live, and to prevent abuse and spam.
To reply to you when you contact support.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not run ads, sponsored placements or paid rankings.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see what
Prices and venue information you submit become public in the app once approved, but they are not shown next to your name.
Check-ins, photos and ratings are visible to the people who follow you.
Your email address is never shown to other users.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers in the European Union.
Support emails you send us arrive in a Google Workspace inbox we control.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active.
Approved prices and venue information stay in the app after an account is deleted, because they are factual records about a bar rather than about you — they carry no link to your identity.
Support emails are kept for up to 24 months so we have context if you write again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted.
Write to us from your account email address and we will action it within 30 days, then confirm by email.
You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings; the app keeps working, you just search by area instead.
Children
Spritzli is about alcoholic drinks and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change it materially we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
